DRIVING ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS

ADVANCED PROTECTION. CUTTING-EDGE COMFORT

With busy roads and lots of distractions, we could all turn to a prop to make traveling even more enjoyable. Introducing Ford's Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), with intelligent safety features designed to make driving safer and less stressful.

PARKING EASIER

ACTIVE PARK ASSIST

Facilitates parking maneuvers on a busy street or in a narrow space. The system is able to identify a suitable space and steer automatically. Thanks to the rear cameras, you can keep an eye on your surroundings and always be in control.

Park Out Assist can help when exiting, while Side Parking Aid warns you of obstacles to the side.

FRONT CAMERA WITH WIDE RANGE OF VISION

Wide-angle front camera improves visibility on the road. The small panoramic camera on the front of the car shows a dual view on the multifunction display, allowing you to see approaching vehicles, cyclists or pedestrians on both sides.

HEATED WINDSCREEN WITH QUICKCLEAR DEFROST

The windshield defrosts quickly on the coldest mornings. The fine filaments heat the windscreen to remove ice and frost from the glass in seconds, as well as defrost the wiper blades.

DRIVING MORE RELAXED

INTELLIGENT ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL

For more relaxed driving in heavy traffic conditions. Simply set your desired cruising speed and intelligent adaptive cruise control and Stop & Go automatically maintains a pre-set distance to the vehicle in front, stopping your car if necessary. Once traffic clears, the system returns to the chosen speed.

LANE INDICATOR

The front cameras can detect any unwanted lane departures. The system alerts the driver by vibrating the steering wheel and can even provide gentle steering assistance to bring the driver back into the correct lane. The Lane Keeping System is designed for multi-lane roads. It deactivates automatically below 69 km/h or can be deactivated manually.

HILL START ASSISTANCE

Hill Start Assist gives you more control when starting off on slopes. The system works by holding brake pressure for an extra 2.5 seconds to temporarily prevent rearward (or forward) movement as your foot moves from the brake pedal to the accelerator. It is also useful when stopping and starting on slippery surfaces.

AUTO START-STOP

When you stop at a red light or in heavy traffic, Auto Start-Stop can automatically shut down the engine, while retaining essential features, such as headlights, air conditioning and Ford SYNC. When you're ready to go, press the clutch (or press the accelerator for an automatic transmission) and the engine restarts.

SEATS ADJUSTABLE IN 10 POSITIONS

Designed to increase comfort and reduce fatigue with ten possible separate adjustments and Active Motion massage function. The seats feature eleven cushions arranged to offer extra support and, when needed, a gentle massage. Just enough to relax without getting distracted.

BLIND SPOT MONITORING SYSTEM

This system uses sensors to detect the presence of vehicles in the blind spot. If a vehicle is approaching, the system will warn you with discreet warning lights incorporated into both door mirrors. The approaching vehicle warning function helps you when reversing out of a parking space with poor visibility by activating an audible alarm in the event of vehicles approaching from both sides.

AUTOMATIC RECOGNITION OF ROAD SIGNS

Whether they are signs beside or above the road, temporary or permanent, the Automatic Traffic Sign Recognition system can identify them. Then, display sign information, including speed limits, on the instrument cluster. Speed limits are updated each time you enter a different speed zone.

SAFER HANDLING

ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL

It uses sensors from the anti-lock braking system and the traction control system. The system senses when your vehicle is losing traction and automatically applies a braking impulse to individual wheels, helping to stabilize them.

TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM

Early warning in case of loss of tire pressure. Detects when tires start to lose pressure and warns you via the instrument cluster. You can also receive notifications through the FordPass app, monitoring tire pressure, washer fluid and much more.

FORD SYNC WITH EMERGENCY SERVICE

In the event of an accident, Ford SYNC can automatically call emergency services using your paired mobile phone.

The system can provide critical information, such as GPS location, even if the driver is unconscious.
