PRE-COLLISION ASSIST
Pre-Collision Assist keeps a watchful eye on the road ahead by monitoring your van’s proximity to pedestrians and other vehicles. The system can alert you to a potential collision and can then automatically apply the brakes if you don’t respond. Designed for speeds of up to 50 mph (80 kph) (under normal road conditions).
LOAD FLOOR TIE-DOWNS
Lower, sidewall-mounted tie-down points make access easier when you’re trying to secure cargo. Keeping the load-floor clear of obstructions also allows for the new easy-clean load-floor liner. Additional fixing points built into the mid-sized van structure at waist and shoulder height, are each capable of an impressive 30 kg of load.
TURNING CIRCLE
A turning circle from just 10.9 metres, means that tight manoeuvres in the New Transit Custom Van are impressively easy for a panel van of its size. ACTIVE PARK ASSIST MAKES PARKING EASIER

Assist can even steer you back out of parallel spaces too.
GEOFENCING TECHNOLOGY
Available in the Transit Custom plug-in hybrid, geofencing technology is designed to help improve local air quality. The Transit Custom Van can detect when it enters a congestion zone or low-emission zone, and then automatically switch to electric only drive mode. Users can also create custom “green zones” to reduce emissions near schools, in urban areas and warehouses.
AVAILABLE AS A PLUG-IN HYBRID VAN
Transit Custom Plug-in Hybrid Van combines a battery-powered electric motor with its 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine. Selectable EV modes allow you to switch drive power between the electric motor, petrol engine, or via a fuel-efficient combination of both. Capable of zero emissions, electric-only driving to a range of up to 27 miles. Ideal if you operate in the city, even in the new ULEZ.
